Lace offers the mystery of concealment and the subtle interplay of space, light and shadows. Its layering can enhance the human body and create alluring effects in interior design and architecture.

Though lace is usually associated with textiles, Tatyana sees its principles guiding her approach to garden design.  Lace is often mathematical and is made of sequences of filled and empty spaces.

In laces combination of mathematical proportions with the grids, layered sequences of experiences, rhythms,             sub-rhythms, repetitions and improvisations create enchanting worlds inspired by nature.

In gardens shapes of trees, flowers, grasses, water drops and garden structures, transfused with light, are poised at the moment in time, their beauty lying in peculiar combination of order and disorder harmoniously arranged, reflecting the processes of human interaction with nature.
